Ravintsara oil

Ingredients: cinnamomum camphora oil (100% pure organic ravintsara essential oil).

Origin: Madagascar.

Method of extraction: the essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from leaves of camphor tree Cinnamomum camphora.

Aroma: fresh and clear, reminiscent of eucalyptus with a note of pepper.

A favorite among aromatherapists essential oil due to its light pleasant smell which like tea tree or eucalyptus oil is recommended for vaporization in diffusers during colds or runny noses.

Ravintsara oil is obtained from the leaves of the camphor tree that grows in Madagascar. Its composition differs from oils extracted from camphor trees grown in other regions. The essential oil of this chemotype has the property of repellent against mosquitoes and is suitable for aromatizing rooms in the summer to prevent unwanted guests from entering [1]. Its fresh and invigorating smell will surely provide comfort and coziness.

Ravintsara oil is distinguished by high levels of eucalyptol, which has shown excellent antimicrobial properties in studies [2]. Therefore, this oil can be useful in products and masks for problematic and acne-prone skin.

Usage:
✓ for skin care – mix 4-6 drops of essential oil with 10 g of the base (e.g. carrier oil – argan, rosehip, etc.)
✓ for face masks – mix 3 teaspoons of clay, 3 teaspoons of water and 3-5 drops of oil until you get a thick paste. Apply to the skin and leave for 10-15 minutes. Do not allow to dry completely. Then rinse with warm water.
✓ baths – mix 4-6 drops of essential oil with 1 tablespoon of milk, honey, sea or table salt, add to a full bath of water. The duration of the procedure is 10-15 minutes.
✓ it is possible to vaporize essential oils in aroma diffusers.

Contraindications: individual oil intolerance. Do not use pure oil for skin care. It is necessary to check whether the inhaled or applied oil will not cause an individual allergic reaction before using!
